Is my wife having an affair is a serious question that deserves serious answers.  Typical husbands think okay the honeymoon is over, we have a few kids and I bring home the bacon……LIFE IS ALL GOOD!  Well let me tell you from experience, your wife having affair can happen to the best of us.  Looking back on the past, it is easy to blame her for the affair and all the pain that was caused.  However, marriage is consummated between two people and both of us are guilty of the breakdowns.  When I take a step back here is a list of areas that I totally failed at being her husband.

4. Remembering the foreplay starts in the kitchen and not in the bed

7. Rubbing her feet while watching TV or just giving her physical touch
8. Blowing off her exciting plans of attending a marriage retreat weekend
9. Telling how beautiful she is daily instead of asking myself is my wife having an affair
10. Taking her on random adventures like when we were dating
11. Grade school grabbing and tickling after dinner
12. Coming home from work early and surprising her
13. Holding steadfast to the weekly date night schedule
14. Enrolling in the swing dance lessons she so desperately wanted
15. Making casual time to just love on my wife
16. Putting up boundaries to protect our sacred marriage and not always helping others (neighbors) when they asked
17. Letting her know that she was my #1 priority – not work, the guys, my car or the house
18. Forgetting to show her how proud I am to be her husband
19. Rescuing her from pain of friends, others and her concerns
20. Actively trying to help her from the wounds of her mother and father during childhood

You see I obviously was not the perfect husband and I got very complacent.  I thought after six years we were good, life was good and our marriage was good.  I truly don’t know what she saw in this other man and I really don’t care (Yeah Right…I am posing her!).  With the list of items above, if I would have just done 1/3 of them I know this would have never of happened.  I only outline these items for you to do a reality check and avoid asking, “Is my wife having an affair?”.  I hope these words of wisdom will keep your wife having affair thoughts to a minimum.  Trust fellow men out there…..if you don’t do these someone else will!

With my crazy work schedule, I had to find a way to monitor my wife computer activity. I really should have been more aware of my wife affair symptoms.  I never thought in a million years that I would have to be on the lookout, but as I can atest….It happens to the best of us.

When I think back to past conversations and extract little comments she made, I should have taken note to her actions and words.

• Withdrawals cash on her debit or credit card
• Stops doing normal tasks at the home
• Applies for a new credit card
• Opens a new bank/checking account

Obviously, I could go on and on with my list.  I mention these items for you to be on the alert.  Trust me brother, at one time or another all these wife affair symptoms were right before my eyes!

After I became alerted that my wife was having an affair, I started to scour our phone records and do a reverse lookup cell phone number to trace my wife cell phone.  The one positive thing I can say about our Verizon Wireless service was the ability to go online and access your account.

I went online and started downloading our bills via PDF’s.  I started to see numbers on her line that I did not recognize, the time of the call, and even the city (of the number’s service) where the incoming/outgoing  call were directed.  The cool thing about Adobe Acrobat is that you can search a specific word or numbers throughout the entire PDF  thus saving time and avoiding blurry vision looking at every single phone number.

After I found trends of numbers that I thought were suspect, I then did a reverse lookup cell phone number just like the one below.

I was now able to intelligently trace wife cell phone numbers and find out the person she was calling or who called her, where they lived, and even a Goggle Map of the location of the number!

In my eyes, you cannot beat the price of this product as you get unlimited reverse lookup cell phone numbers for one year.  The detail of the information is pretty good and the report isdelivered almost immediately!

I love the fact that I found out his address.  Once I had his address, I set up a text message alert on the track wife GPS device I purchased and placed in her car; therefore, anytime she was near his house I was alerted!

When the Fit hit the Shan, I began looking for a way to track my wife and know the GPS location of my wife.  I wanted to know where she was during the day and exactly where she was “meeting her friends” to talk.

I mean come on, now that  some guy is having an affair wife my wife, does she think that I am just going to bow down and let him sleep with her?  The more upset and depressed I became the more I decided to take action.

I love the fact that I did not need to wire it to her car or place the device  in area with a clear view of the sky.  I placed it in the glove box, under the seat, behind the seat and even in the trunk, all with near perfect results.  The cool feature on the software is that will send me cell phone texts and emails if she goes into an area I define.  The batteries lasted for about 6 days without me having to recharge them and I highly recommend this product. You can upgrade to a 6 month battery life but I did not go for that feature.

The awesome thing is that if you get busted by your wife with this GPS device, you can always say you bought it for the kids or for her. Show her the panic button and explain how it sends out an email and text message to your phone! (You always need to have a good excuse in case she finds it!)

If you really think about it, how can two people that get married really trust one another?  Trust is not something that is  taken for granted but it is earned over time.   We all established trust while dating which leads to engagement which leads to marriage.  After we are married and are truly sacrificing for one another, we have now earned and given TRUST.

It is amazing to think back on all the great times my wife and I shared.  I can remember the excitement of all the events leading up to the marriage and the craziness it entailed.  Man the drama over the decisions of the wedding colors, the types of flowers, the type of  paper and font to use for the invitations.  I was living a true Soap Opera.  It was such a big deal to her and her mother and all I carried about was the night I could get that wedding dress off of her!

Looking back I have to smile on those days!  We were young, happy and on an eternal honeymoon.  We had nothing to do and no real bills….just spend time with one another and go on adventures.  It is hard to think that in only six years, the girl that I said, “I Do!” is not the same women that had an affair on me.
